Yeah, they do have to be things that you don't just forget about; either you put a system in place early on to keep you to them or you keep the goal fairly well in mind across the year.
We had a very nice time at the at home; jinty and her housemate Dan, iruineverything and pinata23 and Tom, an old uni friend, all made it along. I'm not sure I was great company though - I got very drunk.
